Valentine’s Love Bugs
Create your own adorable "Love Bug" Valentines with this fun craft featuring R.M. Palmer's Double Crisp® and Cookies and Creme Hearts!
Supplies
- Assorted R.M. Palmer Valentine’s Hearts
- Construction Paper
- Cut-Out Hearts (Make your own using construction paper
or card-stock (recommended) - Googly Eyes
- Glue
- Double-Sided Tape
- Scissors
NOTE: Children should be supervised by an adult when creating this craft.
Directions
Step 1
Start by gathering your materials and cutting out the shapes needed. Using black construction paper cut circles for the Love Bug heads and use red or pink paper to cut heart shapes for the Love Bug wings. We recommend a heavy paper to hold the hearts later.
Step 2
Using glue, assemble two hearts together at the point to make the wings. Next glue the circles to the back of the wings as shown.
Step 3
Using the double-sided tape, tape the Double Crisp or Cookies and Creme Hearts at the point of the paper heart wings.
Step 4
Finish your craft by gluing googly eyes to your Love Bug’s heads! Now they’re ready to hand out to your friends and family!
